Following on from our re-imagining of the visitor journey we moved on to refresh the tower’s food and drink offers. In 2021 we designed a new interior for the ground floor café giving it a sense of warmth and sophistication bringing in new materials, angles and colours.

 

This year the Sky Bar, the South Coast’s premier cocktail bar, opens at the summit of the tower. For the design here we produced a fresh new take evoking the luxury and style of the trans-atlantic liners which used to pass by in the Solent. The new marble topped bar sits on oak flutes within a sea of teak deck flooring. It just needed one further touch… As the tower is the shape of a giant spinnaker sail we felt it was only right that we should add something that suggested a gust of wind, inspiring the forms of our bar canopy.
