We were appointed to design a dramatically upgraded visitor experience for a stage 2 lottery funding bid at this historic “Palmerston Folly” overlooking the English Channel. We created a carefully crafted series of interpretive interventions throughout the large site in response to detailed business planning and audience research.

 

The HLF case officers said: “I congratulate you on having used the HLF Development funding so effectively - it has been a pleasure to work with you both.”

 

The proposals included AV presentations, object based and interactive displays, interactive room settings and interpretation of external areas and fortifications. Improved facilities include new ticketing, retail and café.
