This project for Wantyou International Resorts was to design a “showcase” guest experience to demonstrate on a smaller scale how an emerging chain of theme parks across China will be developed, and how they will look and feel.

The 1466sqm Exhibition Hall tells the story of the proposed resorts and parks.

The experience begins with an immersive introductory AV show with animated moving elements that reveal a model of the proposed resort from the ceiling, ending with a reveal of a retracting screen opening up a route into the themed areas beyond.

The exhibition hall is divided into 6 areas arranged along a curving walkway through an immersive magical forest, complete with waterfall. Groups of 15-20 guests are guided through the themed areas where they are immersed in the park environments and examples of interactive scenarios.

The zone demonstrates:

• Wild World – Experts in Zoos

• Panda Park – Experts in Shows

• Ocean World – Experts in Aquarium

• Forest Water Park – Experts in Water Rides

• Mountain & Sea Fantasy – Experts in Fantasy Thrill Rides

• Science Fiction World – Experts in Attraction Futures

The whole experience concludes on the external deck where guests could meet and interact with the family of elephants that live in the surrounding park.
